When the pressure seems unbearable. When I have more list than time. When the end does not seem to be in sight.
I need this word from God.
When I feel in control. When I come back from vacation. When I take a deep breath and enjoy the cool of a summer morning.
I need this word from God.
In the former circumstances, I need this word to give me hope that it won’t always be this way. In the latter circumstances, I need this word to bring me back to the reality that there is only one God, and I am not Him. In both, I need the deep humility that only comes through depending on the good news of Jesus. I am more flawed and broken than I could imagine, yet I am more loved and accepted than I could ever hope. Have you found that humility?
