“But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and are saved.” – Hebrews 10:39
I am praying today that Jesus’ teaching, “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be provided for you” (Matthew 6:33), and Jesus’ prayer, “yet not as I will, but as you will” (Matthew 26:39), would shape your priorities and your prayer this week.

I pray that when you feel out of step with the culture around you because of the Christian view of sexuality or eternity or revealed Truth in Jesus, that you would remember that this world is not your home! Remember that you are supposed to be a “stranger and exile” here (1 Peter 2:11-17).
I pray you will also remember that you are called to be a priest to the people around you. Priests pray, so let those people know not just that you are praying but what you are praying!
I pray you will not be paralyzed in your moment of decision but instead will rehearse the character of the wise and powerful One who is able to “direct your steps” (Proverbs 16:9).
Finally, remember that the hard things that you endure for the sake of Christ become crowns of honor in the life to come.
